Semi-Converted
Paul describes conversion as a time when we become a new creation—becoming a Christian should change everything about everything.
A big problem with the Christians at Corinth is that they were so influenced by their surrounding culture that they were basically semi-converted: in a lot of ways, they were living just as they had before they became Christians; their cultural values and indeed their entire worldview really hadn’t changed much!
And we can be the same way.
